Indigenous Engagement Toolkit: Terms of Use:
This toolkit is a living document filled with adapted tools, teaching and reflections constructed by Ever Plan Consulting. It has been shared with the intent to support respectful and culturally aligned engagement with Indigenous communities.
This toolkit is a digital resource intended for educational and professional development purposes. It is not legal advice, and results may vary depending on context, community or application. Always consult with Indigenous communities, Knowledge Holders, and local leadership when engaging in formal processes.
By accessing, downloading or using the toolkit, you agree to following terms:
Use with Respect

You are welcome to use, apply and adapt the tools to your own work as long as the original source is clearly acknowledged

You may share teachings with your organization or community as long as they are not removed from their cultural and relational context

If you use content from the toolkit in a report, training, session or publication, please credit Qwuy'um'aat (Eyvette) Elliott or Ever Plan Consulting.
Not Permitted
To honour the integrity of this work and the foundations of the work, the following uses are not permitted:

The toolkit may not be sold, republished, or re-distributed (in full or part) without prior written permission. This includes uploading to share drives or online platforms accessible to the public or third parties.

You may not repackage, re-brand or present the toolkit as your own work. This includes removing the author's name or organization, replacing logos, visual elements or incorporating content into another product or offering without permission

Do not use the tools or teaching outside of their relational and cultural context. Decontextualizing or generalizing the tools or teachings are not allowed. These resources are founded in Indigenous knowledge knowledge systems. Using them outside of their context risk misrepresentation or harm.

The toolkit is not intended for commercial resale or institutional licensing without formal agreement.
This work was created with responsibility. Misuse, misrepresentation or extraction goes against the intent and vision, and may cause harm when they are not handled with the care. If in doubt, please reach out and have a conversation, we're happy to support.

Creator's Note
This toolkits reflects relationship and teachings, combined with experience and expertise, that I have been entrusted with. I do not claim ownership over the stories, protocols, snuw'uy'ulh or knowledge systems, they come from diverse Indigenous communities and belong to those who carry them.
What I do is carry the responsibility to ensure this resource is shared with care, used with integrity, and remains grounded in the original intent.
Attribution is not about personal credit, it is also about upholding transparency and respect to the sources and communities that inform this work. If questions arise, I welcomes you to reach out.
Refund Policy
